A catch is made in the seconds
that a fishman chases his dreams.

The joy of the catch, the steaming mist rises from the lake
as light reflects the azul sky, fishman nets his take
The taste of Ishmael's reward is the catch and release
the meat swims another day, the angler keeps no piece

Small waves laps his legs, in waders dry
washing dirt round his boots, a fly he ties
Galilee's foam in pools as he casts
Again free, the pisces dart home fast

Sunbeams undermind the hunt due the heat midday
Like Reba in the wilderness, the fishman becomes prey
Fortunes twist with the light-play
But bliss returns, with the setting sun
Poseidon's stash plays in the darkening pond

A maze underwater, silver chase bait within
Atlantis' cavern, as the fishman casts again.
