North Star #3 Traditional Cache
Balaraka: Went by today on a maintenance run. Whole area is quite different - lots of downed tree limbs and the spot the cache was in is kind of buried. Not sure if the cache is even present anymore; we will come by in the spring and see if we can move things around (everything kind of frozen) but my feeling is that the cache is gone. If no one else places a cache nearby we may do a new one in the future on this path.

L and R from Balaraka got to explain the basics of geocaching to their school, they did this by geocaching in this area, and also by hiding a couple of caches. Their teacher got the containers and contents together, and with input from L and R the class selected the locations. Unfortunately, some of the locations didn't work out so the Balaraka team have found new ones. The class enjoyed their outing - there may be a few more geocachers out there as a result! Balaraka will maintain this cache for them.
