For a nice country drive, take the road about 10 miles NE of Metropolis through the Jefferson area. Go straight again at the next crossroad and you will continue to climb up into the hills for some nice scenic views. Turn right on Kraper road. All these roads are paved.
There is a bridge over a small creek just before Kraper road intersects with Hi-way 145. The cache is located on that bridge.
