Knowing I am not alone in loving the hunt for Church Micros, I thought this was too good an opportunity to place a cache at a church I regularly pass. Please take the opportunity to visit inside the church if you can.
I wanted to place a cache to coincide with the 'Glorious Twelfth' which is not only the traditional start of the Grouse Season but also the birthday of a certain local cacher .
St Paul’s is a flourishing Anglican church in the heart of Chichester, a worshipping family comprised of all ages, committed to the daily rhythm of prayer and praise through word and sacrament.
It is a large and growing Church of England church with a bustling Parish Centre which is well used by the church members and wider community and a popular venue for the annual Chichester Festivities.
Respectful of tradition and alive to change, the congregation gathers week in week out to feast at Our Lord’s Supper: all are welcome.
The building is large with great acoustics – ideal for musical concerts and performances.
The Church has level access for wheelchairs. There are disabled toilets which are easily accessible from the rear of the Church.
St Paul’s Church has a capacity of several hundred, all with excellent visibility – no pillars in the way! The interior is surprisingly bright and airy, more so because of the sombre external appearance, and the Church has double glazing that removes all hint of external noise from the main road outside.
Built: 1836
Architect: Joseph Butler
