Not far from here just off `The Board Walk`you can see a wooden `shed` type building fenced off, this was The Marconi structure built in the late 1890`s approx, it was used for research in the transmitting of radio signals, in 1899 Marconi became the first person to send a message across the English channel. Just a little further away opposite the pub is a building built around an old Pullman(not verified )carriage reputed to have been Queen Victorias personal carriage. If you dont sign the log book dont log it online. please cover well as this is a very busy spot for fishermen parking.
