A fairly simple, good sized cache for trackables and swaps with views over surrounding hills and the nearby windmill at Girvan Hospital.
When Girvan Community Hospital opened its doors at the beginning of May 2010, it began looking after the local environment, as well as looking after its patients. The hospital was built with a variety environmentally-friendly features such as a 100kw wind turbine and a 700kW biomass boiler plant which now makes it one of the most innovative green public buildings in Scotland. The 100kW Northern Power direct drive wind turbine has generated an impressive 18% more power than predicted.
This cache is a clip lock box suitable for trackables. Starting contents include log, pencil, FTF prize and a few swaps.
Stealth is required, this road is usually nice and quiet but you can easily be seen by traffic on the nearby main road.
