Geocache Description:

Lumsden cenotaph reminds us of area residents who lost their lives in both World Wars. Nov. 11 each year a celebration to remember is organized by the local Legion Members.  Nearby is the Lions Park, a great place to play and picnic.  The Lions Park was formed in 1974 after the original park was divided in half by the new river channel, which protects the community from flooding. Enjoy the shade of the cottonwood trees planted in 1907.
