Geocache Description:

Up and over Huckleberry Hill scenic trails to cache. .

PARK:  In Veterans' Park by flag pole to enter Preserve. This cache site is another up the hill and down the backside of Monterey Nature Preserve Park's Huckleberry Hill. Dogs welcome per sign on wide trail to cache site. Best to follow the "Bear" to the cache.Four open pit quarry levels on West side of Hill. Which one?  Quarries used to mine granite for foundations and build some City buildings. Quarry unused for some 100 years and no danger of slides or falling rock. You'll see. Cache is camoflaged peanut butter container with two TB's ready to go.
