Beautiful Loch Eck
Walk, Cycle or Paddle to this cache and take in the stunning views
Park at Glebranter FC Car park or Benmore Gardens and make a day of it.
The loch is at its best on a crisp calm cold frosty winter's morning but can be stunning all year round.
Cache is located near Coirantee with a nice little beach nearby..............
- A long walk or cycle (mountain bike only- the only "road" on the west side of Loch Eck is a rough unmade Forrestry track) in from Glenbranter or a beautiful paddle in from Jubilee Point carpark to "Coirantee" a small beach made naturally of the stone sediment washed in from the Altt Coire an-t Sith (burn) running off the hills behind.
- Cache is in a small 450ml snapshut container and contains some nice wee trinkets for kids (our kids chose most of the swappables for this one).
- Watch out for the sheep sheltering in the...well you'll know it when you see it!
- Paper Caves cache i believe is nearby as the crow flies but a fair trek using shanks pony.........
