Geocache Description:

This cache series is a celebration of the USA's victories in the 2012 London Olympics. Each cache will be named after gold medal winning athletes/teams or noteworthy accomplishments.

The first cache in the series celebrates Ryan Lochte's gold winning performance in the 400m Individual Medley. The 400m Medley is a combination of four different swimming styles —Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle— into one race.  Each stroke has an equal part of the overall distance, i.e. 1/4 of the overall distance or 2 laps of the 50 meter pool. The strokes are swum in this order:[1]
  1. Butterfly
  2. Backstroke
  3. Breaststroke
  4. Freestyle, with the limitation that freestyle does not include backstroke, breaststroke, or the butterfly. Most swimmers use the front crawl.
The IM can be performed in either a short course (25 meter laps) or long course (50 meter laps). The olympics are raced in  long course.

The world and olympic record for the 400m IM long course is 4:03.84 and was set by the US' Michael Phelps at the Beijing Olympics on August 10, 2008.

On July 28, 2012, Ryan Lochte won the gold in the 400m IM with a time of 4:05.18. Michael Phelps, the defending olympic champion came in 4th, failing to medal in the event.

The cache is a pill bottle hidden in a usual location. This should be a quick park and grab, but be sure to use stealth since there may be muggles around at times.
