Geocache Description:

Across Hwy from 11 Mile Canyon entrance. Within walking distance of "Elephant Rock". Large cache.

Across the road from 11 mile canyon and Lake George is an old Antique shop with log cabins and homes nestled on the slope of a mountain behind it. If you're facing the antique shop then to your left there is a bull riding and horse arena. Directly behind that arena lies a huge rock that I think resembles an Elephant. Each year we visit elephant rock and climb to the top of it. Once on top, you can see the arena below. If you turn 180 degrees and face away from the arena, you will be looking into the woods. This is where you must head to locate the cache. *Update: 7/24/16 The GPS coordinates for this cache may no longer be accurate. I've heard some trail maintenance may have moved the location. Shouldn't be too far off though. If someone would like to provide me with new coordinates I will update as I do not live near the cache. Thanks!
