As a tribute to our family's favorite holiday tradition we have decided to place a series of caches honoring the movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Each cache will pay homage to one of our favorite scenes from the movie. Why is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation one of the Buckeye Family's holiday traditions you ask? Sadly, it reminds us way too much of our own family gatherings. It also happens to be a hilarious movie. If you have not had the pleasure of viewing this holiday classic I suggest you rent it, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a good laugh.
#2 - "Holiday Shopping"
Our second cache in this series plays homage to another classic scene in the movie where the family goes holiday shopping. We are aware that in the movie the family goes to a shopping mall. However, in order to better fit the Buckeye1020 family we decided to change it up a little. This cache is hidden near a place we often find ourselves around Christmas time.
DO NOT ATTEMPT FROM I-75!!!
There is ample parking appoximately 30 feet from the cache.
