A simple field puzzle based on a Revolutionary War Monument in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.
Inspired by the now archived same name cache (GC17WH6) by Strike Anywhere
My first find was the original of this, but with current concern about sensitive locations, the final has been moved a short distance and is not on Philadelphia Water Department property. The original was a nano, this is not
You'll have to examine the monument and its inscription to get the needed information to locate the final, then do a little math. The monument inscription has ten lines with many words and numbers.
A = Number of cannons on the monument periphery
B = Number of digits in the inscription.
C = Number of numbers (one to four digits) in the inscription.
D = Sum of digits of the largest prime number
E = Number of digits not represented in the inscription.
F = Most common digit in the inscription.
To locate the final, project a waypoint at a bearing of A x C degrees, B2 - (2xD + E + F) feet from the monument.
The intersection is a busy one, with a four way stop sign, but traffic does not always respect pedestrians. Be careful!
The final is wheelchair accessible. Bring your own pen, please.
Congratulations to GeoKeo for FTF!!
