Geocache Description:


Takahama City was born as the 27th city in Aichi prefecture in 1970.
The population is about 45,000 people and there are lots of automobile plants. The nearest station to Takahama City Hall is "Mikawa-Takahama station". It takes here about 5 minutes on foot.

This cache is hidden near the city hall.

高浜市は、愛知県の中部に位置する市。中部地方の中心都市である名古屋市から南東へ２５キロメートルのところにあって、東は安城市、西は衣浦港をへだてて衣浦大橋で半田市と結ばれています、南は碧南市、北は刈谷市に接しています。窯業が盛んで、この土地で産出する良質の粘土を使って製造する三州瓦が有名である。臨海部や工業団地では自動車関連企業も多い。全国で唯一の「かわら」をテーマにした高浜市やきものの里かわら美術館がある。老人介護福祉の進んだ自治体としても注目を浴びている。

高浜市役所の北側道路沿いに珍しい金冠二等水準点も是非探して下さい。
