I början av 1900-talet togs det upp is ur Västra Nedsjön för vidare transport till Göteborg. Sjön användes också till att frakta timmer.
För att nå till ön som koordinaterna pekar på rekommenderas att utgå från Hindås fina badplats, Nedflo strand. Använd gärna någon form av vattenfarkost. Då isen lagt sig över sjön på vintern förslår jag att du tar med dig långfärdsskidor eller skridskor. Bär isen går det självklart bra att gå på isen. Glöm dock inte att tänka på säkerheten!

At the beginning of the 20th century ice were taken from Västra Nedsjön wich were transported Göteborg. The sea was also used for shipping lumber.
To reach the island the coordinates are refering to, it is recomended to go from the great beach of Hindås, Nedflo beach. Please use a water vessle. During the winter, when the ice is safe, I suggest you bring your cross country skis or skates. Walking on the ice is also possible. But most importantly - think safety (check the ice, bring safety gear, don't do this alone, etc)!
