Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small plastic container.

this cache is hidden near a forgotten school, with some great local history. Carmichaels school district used this elementary school from the 1930's until 1992. Prior to this building, there was a smaller wooden schoolhouse used on the property, and for a period the 2 buildings were connected by a long hallway. This school serviced the Crucible "patch" for the children of the miners of Crucible Mine ( Crucible Steel Co.). The mine closed in 1961 & the town & school remained. There will be more caches hidden soon as a tribute the heart & soul of SouthWestern PA. Coal. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CO FTF THE BUDDHAMAN & MRS. BUDDHAMAN!
