Geocache Description:

This is the first cache of a series I hope will catch on and others will also place a cache for their local hero's. This will be a very easy find or at least it should be.
Who else would run into a building that's on fire to save a cat or dog or a family member trapped by fire byt a FireFighter. A true Hero in the true sense of the word. Have fun and enjoy.

This cache was placed with the permission of the Rochelle Fire Chief, please be respectful of the area.

This cache and what I hope to be many others are dedicated to the hero's that are right here with us every day. I placed this container next to the fire fighting museum here in Rochelle. "The Rochelle Fire Department Museum officially opened in August of 2000. The museum was built almost entirely by members of the fire department with a some help from other city departments. Feel free to stop by during the day and we'll show you around. At night, you can view the museum from the outside using the automatic light buttons."
