Meadowvale Nature Park is a beautiful and diverse native ecosystem which supports a number of rare and vulnerable plant species.  It is located approximately 10 minutes from Bundaberg City with access via Rosedale Road.

Meadowvale Nature Park was declared a nature park in 1988 as part of the Commonwealth Bicentennial Program.  It received the "Environmental Protection Award Regional Winner" prize in the 2007 Tidy Towns Awards.

The area is mapped as containing remnant endangered and remnant of concern vegetation in the 2003 Regional Ecosystem Mapping.  It has also been mapped as containing 'essential habitat' for protected wildlife such as platypus, under the Vegetation Management Act 1999

Meadowvale Nature Park encompasses approximately 63 hectares and provides vital terrestrial and aquatic habitat to native flora and fauna.  The area is relatively untouched, consisting of reparian vegetation along Splitter's Creek, rainforest, open eucalypt forest areas and a band of wallum country, which includes species listed under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 as rare Melaleuca cheelii and vulnerable Acacia attenuata.
