Close to another refreshment stop and what a stop! We’ve spent many happy hours here, playing boules in the garden of the 16th century thatched pub. The best memory has to be Grandad, at 80 years young, scooting round the car park on one of those little silver kids scooters. Priceless – like Grandad.
