The Bourne Trilogy is part of a series of novels written by Robert Ludlum and made into three movies staring Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, the lead character. The movies are
The Bourne Identity 1980
The Bourne Supremacy 1986
The Bourne Ultimatum 1990

An additional installment to the series has been written by Eric Van Lustbader and the movie The Bourne Legacy is being released in UK on 13th Aug 2012 and stars Jeremy Renner. Definition of leagcy - In law , a gift of property or money. Or anything handed down from the past, as from ancesters or predecessor.

Bourne is a historical market town in Lincolnshire. Situated on the A15, an old Roman road, and the A151/B1193

Bournes legacy is motor racing. Raymond Mayes 1899-1980 established motor car racing in the town. Producing cars ERA 1934-1999 and BRM 1949-1999. They produce a Britsh Champion in Graham Hill in 1962.

The cache is placed named after the champion and is near the site of Pilbeam Racing Design.

There is a monument to BRM in the local park and a road named after Raymond Mayes.
