This cache is part of a walk around the Wyresdale Park area on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. It is a turtle container. Pencil included for your convenience. This cache is not a drive by it is on a private road that is also a public footpath for walking.
When we placed this cache, we admired some beautiful horses in the field nearby, turns out the buildings here are part of Arkmire Stud, which has 80 acres of grassland farm for breeding horses. Great views of Heysham on a clear day here too, as well as the horses! If walking to the Arkmire House cache, the footpath bares left, a concessionary footpath around the stud farm, please stick to this path, it is clearly signposted. These fields contained horses and sheep.
