Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a walk over the top of Nicky Nook. A Camouflaged tube.

With its cheeky name this delightful fell overlooking the M6 at Scorton has been a popular viewpoint for generations of Sunday strollers from Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool. Though not particularly high at 215m, its location, between the Bowland Fells and the wide expanse of the Fylde, makes it a great walk. Please note the terrain rating for this cache, it is rather steep, if wet, it can be muddy and slippery. Please walk carefully. We recommend finding the Nicky Nook caches from east to west, starting at Mark's Bench, as it is an easier walk and has better views.
