Dieser Cache ist eine Erweiterung der kleinen Serie "Bluntauwanderung" und führt Euch etwas weiter in das Tal hinein.
This cache is an extension to the series "Bluntauwanderung" and takes you further into the valley.
Nach der Anregung, die kleine "Bluntauwanderung" Serie zu erweitern, führe ich Euch etwas weiter in das Tal hinein: Es geht von der Bärenhütte über kleine Waldwege zwischen den Felswänden und dem Bach. Hier kommt Ihr zu einem Platz, an dem eine atemberaubenede Quelle einen Seitenbach des Torrener Bachs speist. An heißen Tagen ist ein kühles Fußbad toll - aber denkt daran, das Wasser ist sehr kalt.
Ihr könnt ein gutes Stück mit dem Mountainbike fahren, das letzte Stück ist zu Fuß deutlich einfacher.
Bitte denkt daran, dass der GPS Empfang nahe der Felswand sehr schlecht ist. Mein iPhone hat mir eine Genauigkeit von 200 Metern bescheinigt. Aber keine Angst, ich habe die Koordinaten mit Google Earth geprüft, sie sind relativ genau. Folgt am besten dem Weg südlich des Baches bis zur Quelle, es ist in etwa ein knapper Kilometer. Wenn Ihr an der Brücke anlangt, würde ein genaues Navi "7m von hier" sagen ;-)
Having been asked to continue the series "Bluntauwanderung", here is a cache taking you further into the valley.
Leaving the Bärenhütte behind, the trail takes you on small paths through the woods, between rock cliffs and the river. Here you reach a breathtaking site where a spring is entering a side branch of the Torrener Bach. On hot days, this is the perfect spot for a foot bath - but keep in mind that the water is really cold all year round.
Mountainbikers can ride more than half the way, but the end is definitely easier on foot.
Please keep in mind that the GPS isn't very accurate near the rock cliffs. My iphone gave me a accuracy of 200 metres. But don't worry, I've checked the coordinates with Google Earth, they are reasonably accurate. It is best to follow the path along the south bank of the river up to the spring, this is about one kilometer from the Bärenhütte. As you reach the bridge, you GPS should tell you "7m from here" ;-)
