Geocache Description:

This is one of five caches placed along the Lake Hayes Walkway.   The Lake is home to numerous water birds including  Coots whose white bills and frontal shields contrast with their dark feathers.  Watch these birds "pitter patter" across the water before take off.  Nests at Lake Hayes are big bowls lined w ith Willow rootlets and Raupo built in a tangle of Willow roots with overhead Willow cover.

The cache is a 500ml transparent container.  Hunters will be able to conceal themselves while they sign the log and deal with tradable items.  There are good reasons to lurk in the vicinity should you need to wait for muggles t o depart. Access is via the Bendemeer Bay Reserve or from the Lake Hayes Showground.
