Specially placed not far from the 'Olympian Rock Lookout' for the 'International Day of Geocaching' event at Leura. This spot is known as providing one of the very best views in the Blue Mountains. You won't be disappointed with the view from here . . .
The placement of the geocache is designed to take you to the vicinity of a very special place. It's an easy find, adjacent to a great lookout, offering panoramic views of Korowal (Mt. Solitary) and the entire Jamison Valley. Park easily up on Olympiad Parade and then take the short stroll down Olympiad Place to the amazing lookout. (After parking, look for the 'Olympian Rock' sign near the house currently under construction, and remember that you don't have to pay to enter the commercial park nearby.) From the lookout, walk a little bit further west down the clifftop path. GZ isn't far away from the fenced lookout. Please don't go near any dangerous edges or attempt anything reckless near the cliffs. The geocache is geo-family friendly, and relatively easy to find and retrieve! You really can't miss it . . .
