A quick park and grab that provides three interesting views.
We picked this site for three reasons. First - the awesome view of the power cables plunging down into the canyon (near the structures for which the cache is named). (Recently a fourth pole was added, so we added a plus one to the name). Secondly, this is the first place we happened to see a small herd of Barbary sheep. These animals are exotic species that were introduced to the area in the 1950s. Third, once you walk down the utility road, there is a great view of the vintage CCC cabins perched on the canyon rim. Please do not drive down the utility road!
The cache is a Christmas cookie container wrapped in green tape. A compass rose geotoken is taped to the top for the first to find. Original contents include beautiful bling, tantalizing toys, and creepy crawlers. Permit is on file at the park office. Congratulations to jaylous1 for the FTF!
