A traditional cache with swaps hidden just off a quiet footpath that doesn't tend to be busy.
View from the hill
This is our first cache, so dont expect it to be a perfect cache, constructive criticism is always handy!
The cache is hidden on a public footpath that runs past the Carmelite Monastry from Howards Lane to Catchdale moss lane in Eccleston.
On various maps such as Google and Bing the footpath shows as a road, however personally I don't think it would be possible to fit a car down there!
The cache is about 1 or 2 metres off the original coordinates, but isn't actually in the fenced off farmers field so you don't need to worry about trespassing.
To start with, I have included some 'golden' coins (not trackable), an Olympic phone charm, a pretty pebble, a £1 shaped trolly keyring, and a Scouts diamond jubilee badge marked '23rd St Helens (Eccleston) Scout Group' all up for swaps.
There is a logbook and a pencil enclosed.
Container is a small rectangular clip lock box.
Please leave the cache as you found it, and enjoy!
Congratulations to Marilyn@StHelens on FTF
