Töllgraben

Dieser Cache befindet sich bei der 2011 neu errichteten Hängebrücke über den Töllgraben auf dem Meraner Höhenweg zwischen der Leiter Alm und dem Hochganghaus. Im Töllgraben quillt die Wasserführung bei Starkregenereignissen und Gewittern gewaltig an, Murschub mit Steinschlag waren die Folgen. Immer wieder musste der Meraner Höhenweg in diesem Bereich händisch neu angelegt werden, deshalb wurde über eine definitive Lösung nachgedacht und diese Brücke gebaut. Die ca. 55 Meter Lange Brücke auf einer Meereshöhe von ca. 1700m wurde in 5 Bauschritten erbaut und hat insgesamt ca. 730.000€ gekostet. Nun scheinen die Probleme aus der Vergangenheit jedoch entgültig gelöst. Ein Dank gilt hier dem Vorowner welcher mir den Cache überlassen hat. Ich wünsche euch viel Spass bei eurem Aufenthalt.

Questo cache si trova al ponte sospeso, finalizzato nel 2011 che sovrapassa il cosi chaimato Töllgraben sulla Alta Via di Merano tra la Leiter Alm e il Hochganghaus. Durante forti piogge e temporali si gonfiava l`acqua enormemente e frane con sassi sono state le conseguenze. Mano a mano la passeggiata doveva essere rifatta ogni volta in questa zona, quindi si iniziava a pensarci a una soluzione definitiva e veniva costruito questo ponte. Il ponte è lungo in ca. 55 metro ad una altitudine di circa 1700m è stato costruito in 5 tappe. In totale aveva un costo di circa € 730.000. Ora i problemi del passato sembrano spariti. Un ringraziamento qui il preowner che mi ha lasciato il cache. Vi auguro buon divertimento.

This cache is located at the 2011 newly built suspension bridge over the so-called Töllgraben on the Merano High Mountain Trail between the Leiteralm and the Hochganghaus. During heavy rainfall and thunderstormns in the Töllgraben the water flow swells enormously and landslide with rockfalls were the consequences. Again and again the path had to be re-created manually in this area, so they thought about a definitive solution and built this bridge. The 55 meter long bridge at an altitude of about 1700m was built in 5 building steps and had total costs of about € 730,000. Now the problems of the past are solved permanently. A thank to the preowner which has left me the cache. I wish you much fun with your stay.
