Geocache Description:

A small cache, near home named after a place in LOTR.

This Cache is hidden near Rivendell, a home nearby. It is also the start of a nice walk, the so called "eifelsteig". From here you can walk al the way to a viewing point. It's one of the most beautifull places in the area. You can also follow the bigger road up to the Venn Bahn, a great cycling track, al the way from Aachen to Saint Vikt. Caution: This cache is hidden in an Naturschutzgebiet", and officials trails must not be left for this cache. In case of maintenance on the Cache, please log this. My mother lives in Monschau. She takes care of it.
