Geocache Description:

This is a nanocache and contains only a log sheet.  Please bring your own pencil. Please place cache back where it was found.  There may be some mugglers at times so be alert.

This cache is placed on the grounds of a recently restored Victorian home built in 1892 by W.B. Washington, a prominent Leoti, KS pioneer attorney with original woodwork and fireplace imported from Italy.  Constructed by Samuel "Andy" Robison and his son Fred, grandfather and father of Galen Robison.

Previously owned by Oren and Margie Ames and donated to the Wichita County Historical Society, Inc. by their children: Norman an Yvonne Ames, Dean and Lorna Wiegers and Sandra Quartemont as an extension of the Museum of the Great Plains.
