It’s a true puzzle cache! This is a four-part multi (but a bit more exciting than that). Each cache contains the co-ordinates for the next, but I’m not just going to give them to you – you’re going to have to work for them!
Within each cache there is a small challenge which you are required to complete, and some questions you will need to answer, in order to determine the next co-ordinates. There are three caches of this nature, with the final cache containing the log book and swaps. These swaps are all carefully selected to reflect the theme, so please try and bear this in mind when swapping!
The contents of the caches need to be kept as dry as possible, so although there is fairly good tree cover (not terribly good for the GPS mind!) it is best not done in the rain unless you have a (big!) umbrella. Please be careful with the cache contents, and inform me if there is anything missing or in poor condition.
The caches are all ‘off the beaten track’ slightly to enable you to undertake the challenge a little out of sight of muggles (though this is a relatively muggle-free area). Be sure to return to the main path before heading off to the next cache, as this will enable you to take the best route between caches. No cache is more than 40m off the main path, so don’t go veering off into the trees unless you are about this close. This is especially important when accessing the final cache, as there is a large den hole nearby and I don’t want to be responsible for any accidents! It is at least 100m away from GZ though, so as long as you stick to the path and this rule you will be fine. On this note, it is probably best if you avoid caching in the dark and keep an eye on young children. The cache as a whole is particularly suited to kids, but the terrain may be unsuitable for very young ones in places and is not accessible with buggies/pushchairs.
Parking is available in Duke's Meadow Drive, and access to the woods is through one of two small gaps in the trees directly opposite this road.
All that’s left to say is…I hope you have fun!! The listed co-ordinates will lead you to the first cache. I’m quite excited about this, so I hope it works well. This is my first cache so any feedback will be most appreciated
