This cache is located along State Hwy 71 in the southern panhandle of Nebraska.
The United States Marine Corps Museum is located in Triangle, VA located near MCB Quantico where I attended OCS and TBS as an officer candidate and second lieutenant; hence the name. The cache is also located at a road junction that forms a triangle on the west side of the highway. Park on either of the gravel roads just off the highway. The number 56 in the name comes from the fact that on one of the '56' panels of the Nebraska Delorme Atlas there has been no cache until now. The cache is a small metal tube: log only, so bring your own pencil. I hope travelers along Hwy 71 who geocache will have a few more to find once I am done. I drive this road often and there has been only one geocache in 45 miles. I hope to change that.
