Mural, Mural, On The Wall Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

EagleinBC: After talking to my brother (musicdiv579) who has been maintaining this cache on my behalf, we've decided to archive this one. Much like the cache that was previously in this spot, it seems to go missing a little too quickly now.

Thank you to everyone who logged a find (or even a DNF). Hopefully, someone else places a cache in this little park to showcase this area of the city. Next time I'm in town, I hope to log a find here. :)

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a nano-sized container. Be sure to bring your own writing implement! Also, please be sure to replace the container as you found it. There was a cache in this location previously that was muggled. Hopefully I will have better luck than the previous CO.

For as long as I remember, the Flatiron Building has been one of those iconic landmarks in Toronto.. The mural on the western wall is fascinating to look at.

According to Wikipedia, the Gooderham Building is well known both for its narrow wedge shape and for the mural on its back wall. The Flatiron Mural by renowned Canadian artist Derek Michael Besant uses a trompe l'oeil effect to not only make the wall appear to have more windows than it does, but to also give it a more mobile effect by having its edges 'fluttering' away where they are not 'tacked' down. It is a picture of the Perkins Building, which is located directly across the street.
