Placed this cache when in the area looking for some other well placed caches
Why in that particular pine did I hide a container you ask? A couple of reasons. First one being is that the tree is over .1 miles from any other cache. Another being is that it looks really high up there. Why not pick a pine in a cluster of other pine trees. Just to add to the fun. And finally, when you see the "pine" tree container, you will know why it is unique.
I have come to the conclusion that I really love looking in pine trees for containers. Note the sarcasim there. But hey, I do like to hunt for all geocaches (even evil pine tree hides). So I decided to place one of my own.
There is plenty of parking nearby. Drove my prius within a couple of hundred feet. The coords listed are from my cell phone. With my GPSr the last three of each were 048 and 246. Or was that the other way around and the phones last three were 048 and 246? Oh well, pick your poison.
Once you find the cache, take a little time to watch the rock creek sports across the way.
