This cache in the back of Greeley Park beyond the Boat Dock. The entrance is located on Hills Ferry Road. Parking for this cache can be accessed by parking at the turn around or by parking back by the Boat Launch! This cache is about the Jeep Travel Bugs that started my Geocaching Obsession!
I first learned of Geocaching while searching online for my other favorite obsession, which I discovered here in these very woods! When I came upon the web site for the Jeep 4x4 Geocaching Challenge in it's last year in 2007. I loved the concept of Geocaching but waited far to long to invest in a GPSr! Thankfully these Jeep Trackables where unforgettable!
The Jeep 4x4 Geocaching Challenge
With Three years of Jeep Geocaching complete and die-cast Jeep Travel Bugs --- the yellow Jeep Wrangler, white Jeep Rubicon and green Jeep Rescue Concept vehicle, Red Rock Crystal Pearl Jeep Commander --- still traveling from cache to cache nationwide!
In it's final year they enlisted geocachers to hide approximately 8,000 Jeep Travel Bugs in caches located in the lower 48 states. Even though the The Jeep 4x4 Geocaching Challenge has ended you can still track all the Jeep Travel Bug Movements here!
The Hint is a spoiler, so don't use it, unless desperate.
