Geocache Description:

Inside the rose garden of Chandigarh

The Rose Garden in Chandigarh is named after India's former Presiden Dr. Zakir. The garden was established in 1967. According to a plate at the entrance, it is the the largest rose garden in Asia. On date 15th August 2012, it should have more than 32,000 plants rpresenting some 825 varities of roses. The cache container is hidden under the bridge near the fountain. It contains logbook only. So please bring your own pen.
