Geocache Description:

NMACAAG

Northwest Metro Atlanta Cachers
& Atlanta Area Geocachers
Eat, Greet & Gift Exchange
December 2012

When: Thursday, December 13th at 6:30 PM (second Thursday of every month)

What: All geocachers are invited to come eat and meet with other local geocachers, regardless of where you live or how much geocaching experience you have. There is no membership and you aren't required to purchase food or beverage from the restaurant.

Please log your visit with Will Attend as soon as you can and include how many people will be coming with you so that the host and restaurant can be prepared to accommodate our group.

White elephant gift exchange

We will be having a white elephant gift exchange during our December Eat & Greet at 7:00 PM. If you would like to participate in the gift exchange (whether or not you eat at the restaurant), bring a geocaching-related item or combo valued around $10 (new or used in good condition.) For gift ideas, perform an online search for "geocaching store". Please wrap the gift somehow so that the identity of the item is not revealed until it has been chosen and opened during the game.

  1. A name will be drawn from an ammo can to see who will be first to choose and open a gift.
  2. The next person whose name is drawn will make a choice of whether to open a gift or to "steal" an already opened gift. If they steal a gift, the person who had the stolen gift has an option of stealing from someone else or opening a new gift. A gift can be stolen only 3 times and you cannot steal the gift that was just stolen from you on that turn.
  3. The exchange continues until every gift has been opened and the last person opens their gift.

About NMAC: With a large number of geocachers between I-20 and I-75, the Northwest Metro Atlanta Cachers moniker was created to bring these cachers together! We host "Eat & Greet" dinners on the second Thursday of every month and will occasionally have informative meetings, CITO events, flash mob events and other group events. The goal is to get to know the other geocachers in our community and have a good time fellowshipping with each other. Finally put faces with the names you keep seeing in the logs!
