Geocache Description:

Cache is on a trail right outside of Singing Arrow Park.  This is an Open Space.

The bison tube you are looking for is made out of Brass.  I machined it on a Haas CNC turret lathe.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc; the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of brasses with varying properties.  Brass has a wide range of applications.  It is used for locks, gears, bearings, doorknobs, ammunition, and valves; for plumbing and electrical applications; and extensively in musical instruments such as horns and bells for its acoustic properties. It is also used in zippers.

Brass is one of the easiest materials to machine.  Often coolant is not used.  It will be interesting to see how this bison tube weathers.
