Ciao collega geocacher,

Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto della cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo alla cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente la cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

Grazie per l'attenzione e per ogni ulteriore informazione ti prego di non esitare a contattarmi o attraverso il message center oppure inserendo un log in questa cache.

After more than one month from my last note I didn't receive any answer and no action has been done.
If you haven't done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible. If you are going to fix the problems connected to this cache, once it is ready please drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Camogli: long shot

Camogli (Camuggi in Genova dialect) is a small fishing village and tourist resort located on the west side of the peninsula of Portofino, on the Golfo Paradiso at the Riviera di Levante, in the province of Genova on the Italian Riviera. Camogli is one of the largest part of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino, and a part of the Portofino Marine Protected Area. It’s said to be that the name of the town was derived from Casa delle Mogli, meaning house of women …

In the late Middle Ages Camogli was an important seaport, and the fleet consisted of hundreds of Camoglis Tall Ships. It was also called the "city of a thousand white sails. In 1798, the port harbored a large contingent of Napoleon's fleet. The same fleet that was later sunk in Egyptian waters by Admiral Nelson. Nowadays the city lives from tourism. Camogli is known from its colorful houses near the beach. It’s said that the colors once helped the fishermen of Camogli, easier to find their way back to their port.

The cache

The cache is a small, flat, magnetic box. It contains a logsheet. The cache is hidden just behind the old fortress, where once the aquarium was located. The aquarium is gone now, but there is still a nice exhibition about “Jezus of the Abbys”, the statue that is placed under water near San Fruttuoso. Take care not to give away the hiding place (it can be crowded out here) and put the cache back the way you found (or better if it was visible from the outside). Please write small !
