Geocache Description:

Please Note: This cache is occasionally inaccessable during large events underway at the Millenium Stadium

This cache is particularly small and out of sight so a search at night is'nt discouraged but not recommended. The nearest parking locations are within a 5-10 minute walking distance but will require a charge. There is disabled access however some assistance may be required while retrieving the cache. Stealth is also required depending on the time of day.

You will require your own pen to log and be prepared for a potentially weak signal at ground zero. Also please note that butter fingers can be fatal to this cache so do take care while retrieving it.

The Millenium Riverwalk was shortly opened after the opening of the Millenium stadium to host the 1999 rugby world cup. Mosaic tiles were placed in recognition of the countries that participated which are now accompanied by their national colours in flags that now line the concourse.

The Riverwalk itself takes you under the fringes of the titanic stadium as an almost forgotten part of Cardiff's city center. The pleasant views of the river and riverside opposite can be a tranquil and peaceful view on the nicest of days. A contrast of peace and madness can't be made more clear than during an event at the stadium itself.
