This cache was orininally placed for the the First State Challenge 2012 sponsored by Delaware Geocachers! Although the challenge has ended, this cache is still available to be found!!

FSC-2012 Long Neck/Massey's Landing

Please use stealth when looking for this camoed Lock & Lock.

Massey's Landing is located at the far eastern tip of Long Neck, DE. In fact, Long Neck Road literally ends in the parking lot at Massey’s Landing. On clear days the Indian River Inlet Bridge can be seen (about 2.5 east).

Massey's Landing, which is at the convergence of the Indian River Bay and Rehoboth Bay, offers fantastic fishing opportunities. A public boat ramps, fishing pier and plenty of parking can be found here.

Massey’s Landing is also a great place for bird watchers. Numerous marine and marsh birds including blue herons, great herons, ibis, ducks, and osprey come from the nearby island to fish for their meals.
