The Future of McCloud Traditional Cache

Looking for a decon container that may be accessed from either inside OR outside of the park. If you are inside, and you can't reach it, please wait and get it from the outside when you leave. McCloud Nature Park is open from dawn to dusk. Park at the Nature Center, and after you cross the bridge over Big Walnut, take the Coyote Ridge Trail back to the Woodland Way trail. Veer off onto a mowed pathway that gives you access to the back portions of the park.
This is one of the gateways to the future of McCloud! There will eventually be another entrance to the park from this road. They have many plans, which you can see if you visit the Nature Center when it is open. Their big 20-year plan is posted on the wall inside. One of these days, they hope to incorporate an arboretum, starting at the current entrance, as well as more trails, and additional picnic and play areas, which will be on the north end of the park. The future is bright for McCloud Nature Park. Enjoy your time here, and may the force be with you!!
