There was once this old bird that lived in a shoe.
She lived there so long, she didnt know what else to do.
Then one day, out of the blue,
She moved into a tree.
She liked it so much, because she could see
Way up high in that old tree
Then one day, the tree was blown down.
So that old bird had to move into town.
She did not like living in town, and very soon she started to frown.
When she started to frown, she began to see, that the big city was not for she.
There were things in that town that could cause her great harm,
It was then she decided she would move out to a farm..
So out to the country she quickly went,
All her money toward a little farmhouse she spent.
She was still worried about the things that go bump in the night.
So her last bit of change was spent out of fright
On a top secret padlock to lock her house up tight.
Now, since she was a bird after all,
She had no pocket so her key would not fall
The lock that she bought could not have a key,
but that did not stop her, as you shall soon see.
