Surprisingly, Ashburton is the centre of excellence for the maintenance and repair of Rolls Royces and Bentleys. Just across from this cache you will see the sign. Cars from all over NZ and indeed the world bring their valuable vehicles to Ashburton to have them gone over. At the hotel I run, we have had three Bentleys brought from overseas to take them to this place. Amazing.
The cache is quite simple - a 220ml sistema snaplock with logbook, pencil and sharpener. Parking is easy off the road but be careful, cars sweep into this road from the main highway - so geokinder and geomutts must be kept an eye on.
