An easy find with moderate walking in one of Moorestown's largest recreational complexes.
Memorial Field in Moorestown is the site of the former Moorestown High School playing fields and track, when the high school was located in the center of town prior to its relocation to the northeast part of town. Today, the fields are heavily used by baseball, soccer, and field hockey club and recreational teams and by a nearly continuous stream of joggers and dog walkers. The memorial park at the entrance to the fields is the site of Moorestown's memorials to its war veterans and the location of Memorial Day commemorations each year.
Because of the heavy use of the fields and the adjacent housing, caution with muggles is needed. On weekends and evenings in the spring and fall, there is nearly constant heavy use by soccer and baseball teams near GZ, so watch out. At other times, use of the fields is light enough that you should be able to get in and out of the cache without much observation. Note - map may refer to this field as Wesley Bishop; that's the name of a different field system in Moorestown on North Church Street and an incorrect reference. Memorial Field is on South Church Street and prominently labeled at the entrance.
Please note that the GC is nicely tucked away and low visibility and place it back the same way :) If you have difficulty replacing it, please note that in your log so I can do maintenance.
