Geocache Description:

At this location Bill Meadows and Tracy Barnes made the first hot air balloon flight in Iredell county on October 4, 1969. The national balloon rally the second oldest balloon rally in the nation became one of the largest , most sucessfull hot air balloon events in the united states. There is a medium size box with a log book,pen and plenty of room for small items. Please watch out for muggles!
