First of a series of caches on the Farmington Canal Heritage Greenway which covers approximately 84 miles from New Haven, CT to Northampton, MA. This cache is near the Yale Engineering Research Building, the "Malone", which is located on the corner of Prospect and Trumbull streets. There are a few caches on this trail further along, but we plan to add many more. This is an easy cache to grab with kids and is walkable from downtown New Haven. Not recommended for nightime caching. Great for cyclists and strollers.

On wet days you may wish you were wearing waterproof shoes as the area around the cache can get muddyand/or pool.
