Geocache Description:

A quick park and grab, this cache is a log only, so be sure to bring your own writing stick.  Don't let the 'park' part sneek up on you.....

The Blackfoot River is a tributary of the Snake River formed by the joining of Diamond Creek and Lanes Creek.  It flows for 136 miles and through the Blackfoot Reservoir.  It was first mapped by the Lewis & Clark Expedition and was named for the Blackfoot Indians even though they never lived in the area.  Many people enjoy fly fishing here. The cache may be difficult to access in the winter because of parking issues in the snow. There is a bit of traffic, so watch out for your little cachers!
