A difficult cache to reach, but one with many rewards.
This geocache is our first geocache. We chose a location that was very scenic and involved various challenges, from navigating, to hiking, to maybe getting a little wet. Bring a lunch as you will no doubt want to have a picnic and meditate amongst the beautiful natural scenery. Bring a camera to capture the experience.
Ze and I had a fantastic experience placing it and we hope that you will enjoy the journey as much as we did.
First, this is not an easy cache to reach. It involves some hiking and water travel so bring a water-proof GPS or a water-proof container for your GPS. The first part of the journey is reachable on foot, by mountain bike (BTT), or by Truck/Jeep. You may be able to reach it by car as well. Bring some swim trunks for the second part as you will need to swim. If you have a rubber boat, that will take you where you need to go as well.
You will begin in the village of Picote. You will most likely visit the Fraga do Puio but the cache is not hidden there. Please take some time to appreciate the splendid view you will see from the Fraga and please respect it (trash in / trash out). The Fraga is an area for meditation, it is where star gazers go at night, it is where lovers sneak off to profess their love, it is where friends congregate at night and sing or play a guitar or simply tell tales. The Fraga is as old as the Earth itself. It has been visited by countless generations....including early Celts and Romans. Take a minute and journey through time.

The cache is a small plastic box inside a plastic bag. We will visit this cache multiple times per year to check on its status and read the journal entries. Please list the area you are from.
This cache will be visited and maintained multiple times per year. Should there be any issues with the cache, please contact me and it will be repaired or adjusted asap
