"Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?" --Gimli the dwarf in Lord of the Rings.
Enjoy a conversation with this tree. But take your time. As Treebeard said to Merry and Pip, "You must understand, young Hobbit, it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish. And we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say. "
This cache is in Crews Park. Bring your climbing shoes and maybe someone to spot you. Test out any branches before trusting them to hold you. As always, use a stick to check hiding holes for critters. Watch out for bugs, snakes, orcs, and other servants of Sauron.
The cache is large enough to hold some trade items. Bring your own pen. The log must be signed for credit. If you enjoyed the climb or the adventure, consider giving a blue ribbon favorite point to draw other cachers. This cache was placed in honor of skunkonthefog, who introduced me to geocaching.
